Chateau de la Terrasse, Quebec City

Daily Photo:

For us folks in the U.S., old Quebec City is about as close to European as you can get without going to Europe. That was the motivation to go. Buildings like this one were everywhere and quite colorful and fun to photograph. We pretty much did a walking tour around the entire old city in one day. Sure gives cause to wonder why we carry heavy photo equipment. Too bad they don’t allow donkeys, because I sure in the heck would have liked to have had one.. this day!

  1. Gorgeous!!

  2. Although Quebec City is small, one thing that you’ll really get to enjoy is the striking architecture of various buildings found in this city. It would have been great if you’d taken more photos of striking structures. For instance, the ancient Notre Dame des Victoires church is one structure that will amaze any visitor because of its unique design.

    • I did, just haven’t posted. Sometimes the offbeat is a bit of a capture. Thanks for visiting. Quebec City is a beautiful place and definitely worth the visit.
