Utah in the fall, comes ablaze with color. Heading back to Salt Lake City from Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons in Wyoming, was a slow trip because every bend in the road produces another wonderland to stop and photograph. Needless to say, it was an all day trip. This particular HDR one-shot was a difficult attempt next to a fast and dangerous highway. One step over the guardrails was sheer drop-offs. I’d hurry up set-up the tripod between cars and compose the shot, then hurry and shut the tripod and squeeze against the guardrail to keep from getting hit by oncoming traffic. Horns were a blowin’, and rightlfully so. There was an obscessed madman carrying a camera, going where nobody in their right mind would ever go, especially when it was getting dark. Hope you enjoy.
