Ross Castle-Killarney Ireland

Just as you would expect of Ireland, misty rain coming down, cloudy skies, and enough chill in the air to yearn the hot chocolate and warm fire you want to cozy up to after dinner. This being Shamrock week with St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, what better time to share my Ireland with you. All week I’ll share a daily photo of my visit to Ireland. Green it ’tis be and plent of it. Although the official color of Ireland is blue, when you arrive in Ireland, the land glows at you in green, as you will see in this weeks HDR photos..it ’tis be very green.

The 15th century Ross Castle, Killarney National Park, County Kerry, Ireland sits on the edge of Lough Leane Lake. As you enter the castle you are taken up a narrow spiral staircase that is easy to lose your footing on. It’s cool to see how royalty lived so long ago. From what I’ve seen, it was rugged and tight sleeping quarters with very poor ventilation. We most definitely got it made in comparison. Too bad they didn’t allow photos.
